Changing the filter on a Payne 394GAW

I have looked everywhere and can't find any previous help. I can easily remove the top access panel, but from everything I've looked at, the filter is in the lower section of this up-flow gas furnace. The lower access panel is sealed or soldered shut and I see no way to remove it to gain access to the filter. How do I change this thing?

The blower door should not be soldered shut. You have the lift the door upwards before it can come off. May have to pry it at first. If the blower is running, it may holding it i place on you.

Just what Jay said. You want to pull up on the blower compartment door about a half inch until the lip on the door is cleared, then pull out from the top.

It should pull out easily. I've never seen one soldered in place, but you never know what someone might do I suppose.
