Intermittent Pilot Ignition module repair question

Hi,
Are there any user serviceable part inside an intermittent pilot ignition module from Lennox, model G776RGD-2? I find that the blower works, but the gas won't light, unless I hold the THS2 wire steady so that the light above it stays on for 15 seconds. Since I can't hold the wire every time I want the gas to light, and since it doesn't seem to be a wire issue, it must be something loose inside the module. Can I remove the module, open it up, correct whatever is flaky inside, and put it back, or do I have to replace the entire module? I found one on the internet for 138.00 but most are over 200.00. What do you suggest?

big bang theory

do not tamper with the module,if you blow your house up,no insurance company will pay on the claim. they are normally not field repairable...buy a new one..

Here's one that replaces it

Lennox Upgrade Furnace Contol Kit 30W33

I looked at the one you mentioned but it didn't have my model number in the manual as one that it replaces.
