Replacing Furnace

If I currently have a 1985 Trane 135K what would the be today? FYI its on a 3000 sqft house ranch style. Heats the house very nicely and doesn't short cycle.

You should really get a profession heat loss calulation done. And then you could see what your options are in regards what efficiency rating your going to put in. Plus try to get a new AC coil, lineset, and compressor. The freon has changes since 85 and they dont mix. Dont let then try to clean your lineset either. And if you dont do the a/c at the same time you are doing yoursef an injustice.
