Lennox furnace with LP conversion - Nox screens?

I have a Lennox furnace - A 24M that was converted to propane when installed.

Our new propane provider did an inspection when we switched over and said that the spiral screens should have been taken out when converted.

I opened it up today and they aren't really screens, but a white material that spiralled in the chamber.

They were so brittle that when I pulled them out they all but one broke.

Are these supposed to be pulled - Or do I now need to get new ones to replace them? I figured they were NOx screens before I pulled them out from my research but now I am not so sure.

They did have a lot of corrosion on the metal tabs as well.... THANKS!

I've never heard of them being pulled with propane, but I frankly don't really know. I'd be surprised if that were the case, but I get surprised sometimes.

If you have the installation manual for the furnace it should specify that I would suppose.
