Beckett AFG burner won't run -- Brrrrr
I have a Beckett AFG burner that stopped working last night. My oil tank is about 1/2 full. everything seemed fine until I woke to a cold house this morning.
The LED on the burner assembly is blinking on/off at about 1/2 second intervals, indicating a lockout.
I reset the burner and all I get is a faint growl/buzz sound. Nothing else. Then, after about 20 - 30 seconds the system shuts down and the lockout comes back.
Later, when I was upstairs, I heard a squealing noise (like bad bearings) and ran downstairs to the furnace room. The burner was still not running but the power ventilator was running.
Is something seized? How do I test/fix it?
Any/all help will be greatly appreciated.

I gave in and called the repair service. The problem is/was the power ventilator seized up. The squealing I heard was it's last attempt to run before dying. It's a pretty expensive repair but I'd rather have heat...
