Oil Prices

So how are our oil heating friends dealing with the spurt in oil prices?

What kinds of prices are you finding these days?

My friend told me $3.24 gal COD here in Jersey. He filled up (250 gal tank) and then started crying when he got the bill.

I gave him a tissue.........

I feel sorry for all you oil guys.

I don't heat with oil but it seems like every time I go to town the gas prices have jumped another 5 cents or so
Maybe I better stay home

I couldn't imagine having to pay to heat a house up north

Weekly pricing data for all fuels is posted here: Heating Oil and Propane Update

Click on the Residential buttons - the prices vary greatly by region. Propane price trends usually follow the price of fuel oil, but of course a gal of propane has fewer BTUs than a gal of oil.

The heating fuel oil classifation in European is higher than the North Americian side is basically right now we are burning ULSD sans road tax we used to burn HSD or LSD { High sulfer diesel fuel or low sulfer diesel fuel } and they will be dyed either red or bleu depending on area and useage and for green diesel fuel it only restricted to marine useage only due HSD level { this will be phasing out soon }

Typical heating oil fuel is about 1.25 Euros / liter give and take couple cents.

This price is reflected in France area for other countries the price will varies a bit beside the UK will be much higher which I know they go 1.70/ liter

The LP gaz we have in France still cheap but depending on tankage order fill up the price will varies but typically 0.80/ liter
