Model 36c03 Type 300 Gas Valve...will any brand work

I have an older Bryant with model 36c03 Type 300 gas valve and I need a new one. Will any brand work as long as it's within the spec range?

Thanks

You apparently have a standing pilot ---thermocouple safety gas valve.

Frankly, I don't recommend replacing gas valves as a DIY repair project. Getting a sutiable valve and adjusting it to work properly with your furnace requires a measure of skill, and most DIYers aren't going to have that skill and aren't going to know that they aren't installing the valve correctly.

You can create real safety hazards if you don't do the job correctly, but you probably aren't going to know that.
