Carrier Furnace 58DR100-HH

Furnace blower motor stays on. Thermostat numerals not lit. Thermostat on off has no effect. Replaced thermostat, same problem. Replace circuit board, same problem. Jumped rest switch on the top, same problem. No heat, no fire and blower motor works. This unit has no A/C and was in place when I moved in in 1993

The fan running constantly is a symptom of a blown low voltage fuse on the circuit board. Check that.

If blown, the most common reason for that is thermostat wire cut by bein g caught in some sheet metal --- grounding the 24 VAC low voltage wiring which will blow the fuse.

Replacement 3 amp fuses can be obtained at auto parts stores.

Your MANUAL

Looks like it may have a 2 amp fuse.
It could also be a blown fuse link.

Thanks!! The wiring diagram is what I needed. The information is terrific. I replaced the board because the old style relays would stick. This will help me.
