gas ignition timing problem

Hello,

I have a Rheem high efficiency gas furnace and I had problems with the main electrical control panel and the Robertson ignition box. I purchased new ones and have installed them but there is a problem with the ignition timing sequence. When I turn on the furnace the ignitor turns on at 61 seconds and stays on for 30 seconds. About 5-10 seconds after the ignitor turns off the gas valve turns on but there is no flame because the ignitior is off at this point. On the main furnace electrical panel there is a component that I can turn left or right. I adjusted it and it has no effect on either of the timings of the ignitor or the gas valve. How can I either have the gas valve turn on sooner or have the ignitor turn on later? Thanks in advance for any help.

Philip

The ignition control module isn't adjustable. It's defective and you need to replace it under the guarantee on the part.
