York Diamond 80 Multi-Position Horizontal Flow

Eleven years of operations without a hiccup and then the fan won't shut off. Called in a certified HVAC repairman and he changed every control board, sensor or switch he could find and no solution.

He took pictures and showed them to the boss, and the boss says the unit was installed "upside down" and they'll have to call York for some answers.

I had the unit inspected last year before the season started and everything checked out OK. I reviewed the installation manual and everything looks like the photos in the manual.

"Upside down"??? Am I being fed a line? Any guesses? Thanks.

if it is a multipostion then yes, you got fed a line. Is there a led flash error code given by the control board. If not, then you need to check for 24V between G and C at the control board. How is the blower wired?
