Question Coleman Mobile Home Propane Furnace: Pilot goes out when burner shuts down.

Recently new Pilot assembly was installed. The pilot goes out when the burner shuts down. Old one, the flame faced forward, unit installed the flame is to the rear. Could this be the problem?

by flame facing backwards you mean that there is flame at the pilot tubing? If so then you have a bad/loose connection at the pilot assembly from the pilot tube.
