When the furnace come on, it makes a very loud vibrating noise. It sounds similar to a washing machine that is off balance. This is a natural gas, forced air furnace and it is four years old. Can anyone give me some advice on how I might correct the problem myself? Thanks!

Check the Blower, a mouse could of gotten in there...or the blower wheel might be loose... maybe even bearings going up...

Sounds like belt drive

I would say your belt is past its time and needs to be replaced.PDF>>>>>JUST HOPE IT IS not the squirrel cage or bearings. If it is a sleeve bearing motor.it will mean a new motor.PDF
