York Diamond 80

I had a HVAC tech come out and look at my diamond 80 furnace.. and he suggested the problem was "Control Board S1-33102956000"

He suggested this because the furnace never turned on.. and or it was sparked easily by the thermostat/kill switch.. but just would not fire/blow or anything.. he was unable to tell me if this was all of the problems.. so I was hoping to maybe get the part as returnable or then not to have to re-invest more if there is more!

Good luck. Without having the pro do it ( if it didn't fix the problem you dont pay) then you will have to bite the bullet and replace it with faith in your tech. This is one of the draw backs of DIY HVAC.

It should be very easy for a competent tech to rule out the board without guessing.

It sounds like you dealt with a parts changer; get a second opinion.

Many things can prevent a furnace from firing even if the board is good: bad low voltage fuse, thermostat, limit or rollout switch opening, bad pressure switches, board not getting any power, etc.
