TRANE XE 80 Red Light Status Code

Hello all,

I am new to this forum, I have a Trane XE 80 Model TUD080C936H4, The blower motor went this week, I replaced the blower motor and the run capacitor. The unit comes on and appears to be running OK, however the White and Rogers control board (50A50 – 473) has a steady blinking light, the status codes are not listed on the unit, before I buy a new controller I'd like to find out if this code is normal or if there is an issue. I stopped the unit and checked the new motor and it is a bit hot, but the board is not hot and I do not smell anything burning, as I did with the old motor I replaced. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Awesome, Thanks for that info, I thought that might be the case. The LED flashes slow but steady and consistant, no stops that would indicate a code. You made my week!

That means you have the thermostat set to heat and the unit is starting the sequence of operation.
