Furnace issues

This morning I tried to light my furnace after being shut off since early summer. It appears that I can not get gas to my pilot. I took the line loose at the control valve, and have gas to that point. Can the line running from the valve to the pilot be clogged?

How have you checked for gas at the pilot? Is it a standing pilot?

I woke up this morning and had to turn my furnace on as the temp significantly dropped today. When I turned it on, it began making a loud buzzing noise which continued until I turned the panel off.
