Hanging Garage Propane Furnace hook up?

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is my first post on this forum. I have recently purchased a Old NG furnace that was converted to propane. I would like to install this hanging propane furnace in my garage. I have called a few plumbers/gas fitters and they want my first born to do the job!!!! I am experienced in plumbing and a bit in gas fitting. My question is do I need to use hard pipe to hook up my propane? Would I be able to hook it up with a hose similar to this: Base Camp | Propane Hose/Regulator Assembly for Angle Iron Burners - 12 Feet | Home Depot Canada
This hose has a regulator on it already and my furnace will be mounted close to a outside wall so I can have the propane tank on the outside of my garage. Any help and suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hose is for temporary or portable usage only. You may be able to use copper tubing with flared connections if your local code allows.
