furnace blowback

furnace blowback

My daughter has a natural gas furnace that has blow back or a puff when it lites any idaels on what might cause this

If it is more than the normal puff, it is probably a dirty crossover.

the first two burners lite fine its when the third burner lites that we get the blowback

This is probably due to misaligned or dirty crossovers.
A small wire brush may help correct this.

Yup....like Houston said......it's a dirty crossover.
That's the pipe that connects the burners for lighting.
More than likely.....clogged holes possibly with rust.
