Armstrong furnace help
i've an armstrong ultra v tech 80 furnace that recently stopped working. it gives an 8 code.
if the heat is turned on, the fan will start, gas will start, then it cuts out. it won't ignite.
A technician came out, checked the circuit breakers, turned it on and off and then removed insullation that he thought was causing it to overheat... it worked after that for one month until today.

The model number for your furnace should be inside of the burner section of your furnace. Post it so we can view your manual.
There should be a chart on the outside of the furnace blower door that tells you what 8 flashes indicates. Post this information.
