condensate drain question

Quick question on my high efficiency furnace. If the condensation drain line
is plugged would that trip the pressure switch. The inducer motor turns on but does not ignite. It does however ignite if I open the door to to the furnace

That would very l****ly cause the pressure switch to fail to close, which would prevent the furnace from igniting.

The pressure switch must close and stay closed before the burners will light or stay lit.
