Unhappy Goodman gas furnace blower always on

Goodman gas furnace modeL # GDH8073AXAC, just move in a year ago, 2nd owner. No manual available. I set the thermostat, on auto, to a desired heating temp and the heating will stop as soon as it reach the set temp. So I know the thermostat is working. But the blower keeps on blowing air. I turned the thermostat system off and still blowing air and will not stop. Is there a switch to turn off the air. I also notice a box is attached to the side of the furnace, looks like a dial, and don't know what is it for. Please help, been cold all this time.

Make sure that fan switch (t-stat) is set to auto, then call a tech to investigate.

Or if you're comfortable/familiar with electrical, search this board for "fan running constantly"

Pull your thermostat off the base and see if it shuts off.
