Pilot won't stay lite

The pilot on my gas fired boiler won't stay lite, I have removed the pilot line and all seems clear, it will lite but as soon as I release the button on the valve it goes out, I am thinking it maybe the flame sensor. Thoughts

Thanks

Yes most likely....How old is the unit, and what is the make and model?

It's a Buderus about 9 years old and now that I think about I had the same problem maybe 3years ago and replaced the probe then, I don't recall ever having seen these probes fail before.
