converting oil furnace to swimming pool heater

Is it possible to use a oil furnace that once heated radiators in a home and convert it to heat swimming pool water
I was told to just take the pump that pumped rad water out because the pool pump will do that job
Add fuel and gravity feed, manually lite pilot lite and pool heater will work
can anybody help me here

I doubt the home boiler would have enough capacity to do much, if anything, toward heating a pool. You would need some sort of heat exchanger because pumping the pool water directly thru the boiler would soon rust the boiler out.
