I'm not familiar with that model. But, an HVAC person may be able to add sufficient ductwork above the furnace bonnet for an A/C evaporator. Or, the evaporator could go elsewhere, maybe in the attic if that is where the main ductwork is..

Personally, I think you'd be better off replacing the furnace with one set up for A/C. Get prices either way.

Post the model number and blower motor hp rating off the rating plate.

The furnace needs to be able to move enough air for a/c and must have a fan relay. Some of those old furnaces were intended for heating only and have very small blowers.
