Heat doesn't blow on auto, but a/c works normally
I took off for my birthday today and I wanna tackle an ongoing problem I've had for 3 years now.
My a/c works great all summer, this morning it was 37 degrees outside so it's time to turn on the furnace. when I turn it on auto and heat the flames light and burn good but the blower never comes on. If I turn the switch from auto to On on my thermostat, The blower works fine and the heat works fine but the blower stays on all the time that way.
Remember my air conditioning works fine it turns on and off like it should.
It is a GE natural gas furnace, model number: (21LU 100k2k)
Do you have any ideas about what might be my problem?

Welcome to the forums.
That's a fairly old and extremely inefficient furnace there. There is a mechanical fan/limit control that is most likely sticking. This control turns the fan on when the furnace starts to heat up.
Can you post a pic of the inside of your furnace ?

The following thread is almost the same problem as yours. Yours won't turn on... theirs won't turn off.
