My heat from furnance stopped working

I am having the same problems.

However, we are purposefully letting our propane run out before we switch to natural gas. We are at about 15% full on propane tank. Any chance the lack of pressure in our tank would affect the furnace this way? We have enough gas for our stop top, though I know this takes a lot less pressure.

Absolutely. It takes pressure as well as volume. Put a stove top burner on and then try the furnace. If you see the stove burner react then you've confirmed a propane issue.
