Trane Rooftop Package Unit

I have a church in a small commercial building and 3 Trane 250,000 BTU rooftop package units. Failure of the inducer is a known issue and expensive to fix. I just had two inducers ($400 to $700 each) and three circuit boards replaced ... parts only $1700.

The inducers have been replaced in two of the units before. The motors are made by Fasco.

What do you think of me buying a motor from Fasco and plopping them in (if I can) to prepare for the next time one of these things fail?

Is this doable? Or should I just buy new parts and consider this to be just a cost of doing business?

Here is the part.

That motor is most likely an OEM only motor made specifically for Trane and not available through the Fasco catalog. It would, however, be worth checking with a Fasco distributor to see if that is the case. You'll need the model/catalog number of the motor.
