1988 Trane furnace won't ignite, pilot stays lit

Hey Y'all
We have a 1988 Trane furnace that won't fire up, I changed the thermocouple last night which allows the pilot to now stay lit. I turned the knob from pilot to run then, I turn the thermostat to heat and the valve won't open allowing gas into the air box where the gas tubes are. Any thoughts on this. Thanks

Use a multimeter to measure the ACX voltage from the R to the C terminal and then R to the W terminal when the thermostat is turned up.
