Is my humidifier wired correctly?

The water on my humidifier will run even win the blower is not on.
It is an Aprilaire model 600. The left wire is connected to the power supply. The middle wire is connected to the solenoid on the water line. The right wire is connected the outdoor thermostat (I think, I don't know where the wire goes)

You should have a humidifier stat separate from the regular stat if wired properly. When you turn that to off does the water stop?

Ok, I think I figured out problem. The 24v is connected to a transformer that is connected directly to the power supply junction box. The humidistat is mounted directly on the return supply. The humidistat is on always because it is connected to the power supply which is on all the time. If the blower is not on, the humidistat is reading the dead air that is in the duct, so it keeps the valve open and lets water run.

It seems I need to wire the humidistat to a 24v line that only receives electricity when either the blower is on or when the thermostat calls for heat.

Here are some wiring diagrams from aprilaire

I look inside my furnace and there are a bunch of wires.

Before I do anything, does it seem like I am on the right track?
