My gas boiler has a pilot light but will not fire. Help!!!

Hi Guys,

My gas boiler is not firing up!!! It was working fine up until this morning.

I have a UTICA MGB150HD Gas Boiler with a HONEYWELL VR8200A Gas Valve and a FIELD CONTROLS GVD-4 exhaust damper.

The boiler has a good pilot light that is currently working.

The thermostat is working because I can see the aquastat click on and I can hear/feel the circulation pump kick on as well.

Water pressure is at 15 psi

Any help getting this boiler to fire up would be great!

Pat

I figured it out and it turns out that it was a defective exhaust damper.

Good job... I assume you switched the damper to manually open.....

Sorry we missed your original post....
