RUUD UGRA- Air is only warm
So, I'm a wood and auto shop teacher. Very handy, but before today, I've never even looked into a gas furnace. We're heading into winter and I'd like to get this thing running top notch. I've been reading around, but here is my final questions-
1) How hot should the air coming out be? I checked the first vent, which is 2ft from the furnace, and it is coming out at 100 degrees. I read elsewhere that 120-130 is more what it should be, and I'll admit, what I'd rather have. 100 degrees just feels lukewarm.
2) Because of said vent 2ft from the furnace, it blows very hard and full right there and the rest of my small hour barely seems to get any air. Should I go in there and find a way to just duct part of the air so that it sends more air onward? I can fabricate something I'm sure...
My main concern is the air temps. I put in a new filter. Forgot to mention that the incoming air is directly next to the furnace. So nothing is "cooling down along the way".
I appreciate your guys help!
