Stupid question about HOW TO VENT...

Ok, so my buddy tonight told me I was a dumb dumb because I was using one of those construction propane heaters (75-125,000 BTU) to heat my shed with the door closed. I have no venting in there at all and the shed is 20' x 8'. I use it as a small work shop.

So anyway, he is right, I was probably poisoning myself but I feel fine presently, nothing more than my hands are cold from being outside.

My question is... how should I ventilate this shed/workshop when I use this propane heater? I want to be safe but I don't know how to properly vent the air in the shed. Any easy methods?

thanks!

Leave the door open or install a small window. Purchase one or more CO detectors, perhaps even a low level CO detector. Make sure any device you use shuts itself off if the pilot is not getting air, for example MR Heater. If you want to go all the way buy a vent free heater from Empire Comfort or other.
