Amana SSE 80 furnace heat not working
Model: GUIC090CA30
Serial: 9904166986
The blower will turn on but no heat. In the past there has been issues with the flame sensor. The HVAC installer fixed it in about 30 seconds but didn't show me exactly what he did.
I don't know if this is the same issue or something different. The red light is blinking three times (two quickly, then a slight pause, then a third blink). The manual indicated the following:
- Pressure switch hose blocked, pinched, or
misconnected.
- Blocked flue and/or inlet air pipe, blocked
drain system, or weak induced draft
blower.
- Incorrect pressure switch set point or
malfunctioning switch contacts.
- Loose or incorrect wiring.

You'll want to remove the rubber hose and make sure the hose is clean internally as well as the connection nipple at the red arrow into the inducer blower housing. You may need like a paper clip to clean the hole.
The flame sensor only comes into play when the burner actually lights. In your case the burner is not lighting right now.

Thanks.
I checked the rubber tube and it was clear. I cleaned out the noted hole with paperclip. It was a bit crusty but didn't seem to have any major blockages. After turning the furnace back on, the motor started, and I heard what seemed to be the burner attempting to light, twice in about five minutes. But it didn't seem to work and the motor turned itself back off after about 10 minutes.

The sequence of events is listed in the service manual below. Page 81 on is diagnostics based on your ignition module.

Rather than listening from afar, you need to actually observe what is happening and the sequence in which it happens.
The sequence should be something like: inducer motor starts; igniter glows or sparks; burners all light up; circulation blower starts.
If the burners light and then go out after a few seconds, the flame sensor probably needs cleaning.
