Old furnace issues

Hey guys. For the past year I have had this noise from my old Armstrong EG8A75d-13. The noise seems to be the gas valve clicking on and off while re lighting the burners each time while the burners are lit and a good flame is present. The unit is giving off plenty of heat, and the clicking is intermittent with no specific time it does it. Sometimes it does it 5 time a heat cycle, and other times it doesn't do it al all. The natural gas valve is a Robertshaw 7100der series, and the ignition module is a Robertshaw SP735a. I have cleaned the burners and the igniter and flame sensor with 000 steel wool with no help. I have visually checked all the connections and wires and all seemed to be ok also. I think it might be the ICM but I have also heard the at the old 7100 series valves were junk also.
I am trying to get this furnace to run right since we will be putting the house up for sale next spring.
