Heil Gas Furncce blower wont shut off cooling house off
Everything works up to this point the problem is also intermittent
1) gas valve comes on flame good
2) reaches temperature on thermostat lets say 68
3) fan motor continues to run cooling off house several degrees below 68 lets say to 60. At this point the gas valve does not come back on to reheat to 68 the only way to shut off the fan motor and reset is to turn down the temp one degree on thermostat and the motor will shut off. turn back up to 68 and everything starts heating again.
The one problem I notice when the flame shuts down when I look in the inspection window their is still a glow in the window where the burners are. when the furnace works fine and the blower shuts off their is no glow in the window

Welcome to the forums.
A bit of a strange problem.
The switch on the thermostat is set to AUTO and not FAN ON ..... correct ?
It sounds like you may have a safety sensor opening as that can keep the blower running when it should normally be off.
We're going to need the model number to your furnace. If you remove the front service cover you should see a metal ID plate with the information on it.
