CARRIER MODEL 58SX furnace

Installed this furnace in 1988. Using as a electric furnace now. No gas. Where would be a reasonable priced main blower motor be purchased. Are the after market motors good? TIA jps

Assuming that it has a direct drive blower, you should be able to use a generic motor, purchased for < $200. Aftermarket motor should be fine - just remember to change the capacitor too.

Okay, I have the direct drive after market blower and capacitor it calls for. Motor has wire stripped back but I need some wire ends to attach to capacitor. What are they called and where to buy them would be my question. TIA jps
