C Wire Rules

I thought I would be more specific to see if this helps. Can I connect multiple wires to the C (common) terminal at the furnace. I was also wrong and it looks like I have a Common wire to the AC right now outside. Looks like I have room on the screw though to connect the thermostat to common as well. Let me know if anyone out there knows what the rule is here.

Yes.... you can put more than one wire on a screw terminal. If you run a C wire to the thermostat you will end up with at least two wires on the C terminal. That is perfectly acceptable. You probably already have two wires on the Y terminal.
