blower fan keeps clicking on and off

blower fan keeps clicking on and off

I have a small trailor with a coleman evcon presidential furnace model 7956c856 woke up this morning and the fan keeps kicking on and off quite fast. whether the burner was on or off.switched fan off manually and back on it ran for about 30 seconds then off and clicking on off any suggestions?

What is the temp in the house? If it's chilly, the fan switch will cycle off and on as it cools then warms. If that's the case and you have a continuous fan switch, put it on that until the house warms up.

I'm thinking the fan motor is overheating? More details maybe. "on and off quite fast" doesn't really say much.

Condensation eject line freezes because it's cold outside!

Anyone have any suggestions? I live in the northeast and obviously it gets below freezing here. Some genius house builder put the condensation hose (approx. 3/4" line) through a small hole in the outside wall. It's located in my basement and I can't figure out why that would be considered a good solution. The end of the hose that is exposed to the outside freezes and the pump will burn itself out because nothing is getting ejected. I've been putting the end of the hose inside a 5 gallon bucket in the winter which I have to keep tabs on and dump it about twice a week or my basement floor will get soaked if an overflow occurs. Now I'm not a plumber, but I don't think that's considered normal practice when installing a forced hot water propane furnace!Read More

Hi- I'm having a problem with my gas furnace and don't know where to start to find out what it might be. When the thermostat calls for heat, the draft inducer kicks on, the ignitor glows, the gas starts and burns for a short time and then shuts off. It tries this whole cycle again, with the same results. Sometimes the blower runs by itself with no heat. Can anyone make suggestions as to what this problem might be?
