***PLEASE HELP, -4 and furnace quit working***

Please help, our furnace quit working last night and it's -4 and only getting colder! We have a Nordyne gas furnace, it has a constant blue flame pilot (natural gas). Last night we noticed it was running at least for 10-15 minutes but wasn't kicking the blower on. If I turn the furnace to "on" on the thermostat it just constantly runs but won't light the burners.

Kristina, at -4 outdoors, no heat in the home, no experience working on heating furnaces, it is NOT the time to attempt to climb the learning curve and attempt a DIY repair.

You need to get on the phone and start calling to get a technician out and get the heat back on before all your pipes freeze...

Agree with the previous post. Just a thought, replace that furnace. I've run into nothing but issues with that style. Sorry that I couldn't be of any help.
