is this look right? evaporator intall

i try to install the evaporator coil on top the furnace look like it have a big gap there. i notice there 2 clip on the bottom the evaporator coil, should i take off , it should not have any gap right ? , i try to do as much so when i hire the hvac do not cost me that much .

Usually the HVAC company installs the equipment.

Your problem now is you're installing the equipment.... who is responsible for the warranty ?
It's very hard to see any detail in your picture.

I would call a contractor to finish the install - granted, very few contractors would be willing to mess with equipment supplied by the owner.
