Lennox furnace issues.

I can hear my furnace running but nothing is coming out of the registers. I just replaced my thermostat and put in a new filter. This has been going on for a few weeks. This morning it was 56 degrees in the house and I had it set on 70. I have had my furnace people out twice at 100.00 for each time. They say there is nothing wrong with it. It is only 2 years old. Of course there is something wrong with it because it was 56 inside this morning. I know we have had an extremely cold winter and furnaces are having a hard time keeping up, but I still think there should be heat coming out of the registers. I can see the red light inside the furnace. I have flipped my breaker on and off to reset. I don't know what else to do and it burns my butt to think I have paid 200.00 to have them say nothing is wrong. Thanks for anything you have to add to help!! I appreciate it !! As a single women I am trying to get this fixed but am having not much luck!

Welcome to the forums.

A control board with a red light is a handy thing. Don't open the door and don't cut power. The LED should be blinking in a pattern called a trouble code.

I'm guessing the little draft inducer blower (on the front of the furnace) is running but not the main house blower. That would indicate a problem with the pressure switch. This problem is a typical problem with furnaces. It usually indicates a flue or drafting problem.

If you'd like.... you can remove the upper access door that covers the burner area and grab me the model number for your furnace. It should be on the side wall near the burner. Opening this cover won't affect the blower section where the code blinking board is located.
