Melted wires from thermostat on Lennox gas furnace
I know nothing about furnaces really, but mine recently stopped working. Pilot light is still lit and blower works but the burner wont ignite. I noticed the two wires from the thermostat (yellow and red) were all melted. Also a bit of burnt wire coming from a box on the side wall of the furnace (transformer?). Tried cutting off the burnt ends and re-connecting the wires where they were before but obviously still nothing. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums.
It sounds like you are describing wiring going to the flame roll out switch. That is not a good thing. It could mean cracked heat exchanger or possible burner problems. That switch may have a little red reset button on it. Try resetting it.
If it turns out the red reset button was out..... you should have the furnace looked at ASAP. This is not a matter to take lightly as you may have a CO issue.
