Igniter and Flame sense rod materials

Is there any difference between the material used in a typical igniter electrode and a flame sense electrode?

I am asking because we have a one-of-a-kind oven that has a fenwal ignition module with a single spark and flame sense set up. The igniter electrodes that I can find are just a little short and I always end up with a "fragile" installation on the flame sense side.

I have found a longer flame sense electrode that I should be much better able to position and can ground to the burner body for the spark. I am assuming this would work find but just want to check. The electrode and flame sense products are both made by Fenwal.

Thanks,

Flame Sense rod material

It is a commercial oven - but the parts used in it are more like those found in gas furnaces - hence the post here.
