Furnace not igniting

Have a fg6ra-072c-12a gas furnace . Code light flashes for times suggesting ignition failure. Inducer fan comes on, here a click for hsi to heat up but does not glow. Then gas comes on but shuts down. Any ideas as to the problem?

Welcome to the forums.

You'll need to check the igniter. It needs to be checked for continuity. You can visually check it but it can be hard to see some cracks.

The next step would be to check for approx 120vac to the igniter.

The link to your manual is below. A good step by step diagnostic routine.

Yes.... it could be a defective board. It could be a connection to the board too.
