Question Fan randomly starts. (not set to recirculate)

I have a 10 year old Goodman GMPN furnace that uses propane. For no reason at all the blower kicks on and runs whenever it wants and runs for a while (could be minutes or an hour) then shuts back off.

We do not use recirculate on the thermostat.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums.

I would go to the furnace and CAREFULLY try removing the green wire when the blower is running when it shouldn't be. Don't short any connections out.

We need to determine if it's a thermostat or control board problem.

Your manual.....
