Unhappy Converting old Sears/Homart wall furnace to propane

My friend has one laying around and I want to convert it to Propane. Any idea's on that?

Welcome to the forums.

That is an extremely old unit. Using it in a shop might be ok but I wouldn't use it in a house. You'd definitely need to get the heat exchanger checked for cracks, excessive rust and leaks.
The biggest problem is finding conversion parts. That will be no small task.

You'd probably be better off purchasing a new style wall heater.
