york diamond 90 gas furnace with gemini 36G24y gas valve

Just once I would like to turn on for the year and not have to fix this thing

cleaned sensor

igniter lights up

gas kicks on

after a short time I can hear a squeaking sound from the gas valve and gas flow looks like it starts to sputter and then turns off

eventually get 8 code error of loss of gas flow

my guess is valve but not sure if any other sensor I can troubleshoot first

I feel your pain. I would call the gas company to test the gas meter pressure. Also they can check the gas valve pressure.

well - note to self - do not cover your exhaust and intake with a new deck. Furnace was being starved for clean air
