Turn the Blower on for circulation
I'm trying to get my furnace to run just the blower to circulation the air. I have an "auto" and "on" switch on the thermostat, but when I set it to "on" it doesn't run. It runs when it set to "auto" and the heat comes on. Thanks for any help with this!

Welcome to the forums!! What is the model number of your thermostat and what wires are connected to the terminals?
Is this a new issue or just started? Is the thermostat powered by batteries? If so, make sure the batteries are fresh as low batteries can cause erratic operation.

Thanks firedawgsatx!!
I haven't tried to do this before, so not sure if it couldve been done before.
Thermostat is Honeywell RTH2308, Batteries are new! There are only to wires connected(Heat only) So, Im guessing this is where my problem lays?

You will need a thermostat wire connected to the G terminal on the furnace control board and the
G terminal on the thermostat. That wire is what controls the fan. Do you have an unused wire in the thermostat cable at the thermostat and at the furnace?

Here is a link to the manual for your thermostat:
https://customer.honeywell.com/resou...0s/69-1800.pdf
Reference section 2.4 to see location of jumper J2. Also, you will need a jumper wire between Rc and Rh terminals (reference section 2.3)
For a gas or fuel oil furnace set J2 jumper to HG.
The reason your fan worked in auto is because the furnace control board controls the fan when the thermostat is set to heat.

Thanks again firedawgsatx!!
Got it working!!!
One more question;
Could I program this thermostat to have to blower come on every hour for like 10min at a lower speed, without effecting the heat? Or would I need to look into a new thermostat?

Glad to hear you got it working and thanks for the update. With the thermostat you have you definitely can't set it up to have the blower come on every hour at a lower speed for 10 minutes. I personally don't know of any thermostat that will do that. There may be thermostats that will do that.

After doing some research I found this webpage that states the Nest thermostat will do what you want:
