Intermittent burner ignition with loud sound.

My furnace is a natural gas unit. It came with my McMansion (so I am fairly certain that it is cheap and not big enough to run in my house) so I have no idea what the make and model of it is. I will kick on and the burners will ignite, but the burners kick off and fire back up in approximately one second intervals. When it kicks off and on it makes a loud sound similar to a large contactor switching off and on. Please tell me this is easy and cheap to correct.

If you are not able to provide a lot more information, including the make and model number, I recommend calling a professional contractor to service this furnace.

If you open the compartment doors to the unit, there may be a label inside indicating make and model.
