Smart Valve issue

I have a Keeprite furnace with a Honeywell SV9541 gas valve. I have my thermostat set to 19 degrees celcius. If I temporarily bump the furnace up to say 20 it will start fine but then part way through running you can hear what sounds like the gas valve open and close. The light continues with a heart beat flash as if it is operating normal. I opened the one cover and watched the sequence. It looks like when it hits it's set point it thinks it needs to light again. The main burners shutoff but then the glow plug starts to glow and that's when the gas valve makes the noise as if it is opening and closing. The gas valve was just changed last year so I have a hard time believing it's gone again even though I have read they are crappy valves. Is it my control board? Maybe the thermostat?

No, gas valve's rarely leak through. Both furnace's, I find that hard to believe. Maybe a second opinion is needed.
