Amana amh95 gas furnace wont light
My furnace tries to come on but wont light. I cleaned the flame sensor, did not work. I get an diagnostic light of 8 flashes but the code list in the manual only go up to 7 flashes. Please help.

Welcome to the forum!! Here is a link to some info that may be beneficial:
http://www.amana-hac.com/portals/1/pdf/ss/ss-amh95.pdf

The first linked manual shows 8 flashes as check igniter or improper ground.
That points to an igniter circuit problem due to a bad igniter or an igniter connected improperly. Correction would be to test/replace the bad igniter or check the ground wiring. I suggest you unplug the igniter and plug it back in making sure you have a good connection. Inspect the igniter to see if you see any cracks or burned marks. Also, check the ground wire to make sure it is clean and securely fastened to the chassis cabinet.
